On the north bank of the lake, which served several times as set for some mountain films, is the Antonius chapell with "Barockfresken" from the life of the holy one. Also from the painters and poets and naturally also from the cinema   the lake was discovered as background for romantic mountain and nature films . On beautiful days, if walkers,

fishers -only with permit - and rowers emerge  in crowds   here, if in the winter the ice skate runners turn their rounds on the ice and the curlers play their game, then the lake loses sometimes some of its romance. This romance feels most strongly in the early morning and late evening hours, if silence is in-turned and only the birds to be heard. But the lake can never lose its quite special charm, even if it was more calm in former times and much larger also . By the rubble of the Klausbach it sanded more and more, so that one rerouted the underflow of the brook in the meantime.
