| After a romantic cruise over the Königssee you arrive at St. Bartholomew. St. Bartholomew is situated on a peninsula washed ashore by the ice brook, the "Bartholomew-Au". Into this close building ensemble which is near to the shore, the pilgrimage church and the former castle dominate, which form a uniform solidium. With the church it concerns a constructionally complex "Dreikonchenanlage", i.e., the sketch has one square core zone in the center and three sides in the form of leef of trefoil are arranged equivalent, semicircular "Konchen". |
| The altar from the year 1698 shows the Martyrium of the Hl.
Bartholomaeus. The former Hunting-castle has despite the changes in 20. Century and serves

| is also defined as ice chapel. This develops from avalanche snow, which is washed out by the water of the ice brook and so creates a gigantic arch. By nature effects, particularly falling rocks, the ice chapel is under constant modifications. The ice chapel may be entered under no circumstances, because of the collapse danger. It required already repeats victims. |
